Get Involved & Take Action

Sign up for public comments at any school board meeting: 

1. Public comment is when those who sign up get to speak for three minutes to the board and superintendent. You can give public comments in person or over Zoom. 
2. If you want to provide a comment but are not comfortable speaking or cannot attend, you may prepare a comment for someone else to read for you. 
3. If you plan to attend any School Board meeting in person and wish to make a comment, there will be a sign up at the door, on a first come, first serve basis. 
4. If you plan to attend via Zoom and would like to comment, please contact Lani Chaffee, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent, at LChaffee@bisd303.org, or 206-780-1052 before 4pm on the day of the meeting.
5. If you plan to attend in person (without commenting), then RSVP to Lani Chaffee, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent.

We offer a variety of ways for families and community members to get involved and support our schools.

Are you concerned about what is happening to public school education here on Bainbridge Island and across the state of Washington? Budget cuts and school closings affect entire communities. Talk to your neighbors, friends and local city governments about these issues. We are all in this together.
